I cancelled my TV licence in 2005, finally fed up with the plummeting standards of entertainment and decency and started buying classic films on DVD - you do not require a TV licence to view DVDs in your own home! I tried to find a company that specialised in classic material, but it wasn't easy so I started Discmania.

I trust that the selection on this site has something for everyone and rest assured there will be plenty of additions as time goes by.

All items for sale are new and genuine. Most items are factory sealed, but in common with other retailers, we sometimes receive unsealed items from our suppliers.
